Dealing with customer sales at the trade counter and over the telephone, you will have an understanding around incoming deliveries, stock control and despatch. You will be familiar with processing customer orders and taking delivery of goods and the basic administration related to these functions. And a technical knowledge of the products and services offered together with the bespoke systems and equipment used in the business.

Overview

The level 2 Trade Counter Apprenticeship will develop your skills,
knowledge and understanding of the importance of developing solid
customer relationships to ensure a customer first approach to identify
customer needs and encourage repeat business. You’ll learn how to
safely store, move and display merchandise and products including the
receiving and dispatching of goods in/ out of site locations. Alongside
this you will develop the skills and understanding of working within the
company guidelines to effectively use in house IT systems and complete
administrative tasks and the importance of complying with GDPR and
audit procedures.
